5 Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup Goals

Wouldn't it be hard to figure out the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals? Considering that the Super Eagles is neither like Brazil nor Italy that have made a name in the world of soccer, Nigeria has yet to put their acts together to achieve more victories on their side. But nevertheless, there are just great moments that marked as the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals.
- Nigeria VS Greece 2010 - This was the first ever game that Greece won in the World Cup. However, the Super Eagles had their early lead from a free kick turned into a goal that surprised the crowd. This was scored by Kalu Uche who stepped up by making Nigeria's only goal, one of the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals, in that game. (2-1)
- Nigeria VS Spain 1998 - Held in France, Nigeria won VS Spain with 3 goals. The first 2 goals for the Super Eagles were scored by Mutiu Adepoju (at 24 minutes) and Garba Lawal (72 minutes). It was Oliseh (at 77 minutes) who led Nigeria with his goal (3-2).
- Nigeria VS Denmark World Cup 1998 - Denmark was already leading by 4-0 and their goals where coming from almost everywhere during that game in France. Nigeria couldn't make any goal until Babangida (Jersey #13) had one of the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals for the team. The goal was also made possible by the great assist from the left wing by Jay Jay Okocha. It was that unforgettable goal that saved their team from having no score at all.
- Nigeria VS Greece World Cup 1994 - During this game in USA, Nigeria had two goals against zero of Greece. One of the goals was scored by Finidi George. Daniel Amokachi had the last goal, which was one of the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals, made the night. This is truly amazing for it gave Nigeria a splendid victory for winning by 2-0.
- Nigeria VS Sweden 2002 - Although Nigeria lost by 1 point, this Nigeria VS Sweden game had one of the most unforgettable moments especially for Julius Aghahowa of the Super Eagles. During the first half of the game, Julius Aghahowa, wearing jersey# 17, scored for Nigeria. As one of the best Super Eagles Nigeria World Cup goals, it was like a life-saving goal that it made him do a tumbling after. This was also one of the best goal celebrations known in World Cup history.
