Players Rating
Vincent Enyeama : 6.5
- Kept a clean sheet but was not at his best
- Got dribbled, but the striker did not pull the trigger.
- Used his experience to guide the defence, pushed the Kenyan attacker wide and save a possible goal
Mohammed: 6
- Good defender but did not offer as much an attacking options like Odiah or Olubayo Adefemi
- I have seen better from YM
Adeleye : 6
- Quality defender but he needs a quality partner in Yobo
- Was pulled out of position a few times but he passsed the ball out of defence very well
Sodje : 4.5
- Did not have a great day in the office
- Made a few good stops and also almost gifted the Kenyans a goal
- For the Tunisia match i would pefer Yobo starting
Echiejilie : 5.5
- Got skinned alive by Oliech & his team-mates at least twice
- Put in the cross that led to Nigeria's 3rd goal
Olofinjana: 5
- Got disspossed and lost a few balls. The quality of his passing can be improved
- Dwells too long on the ball and gave far too many bad passes. Made one very good ball recovery
- showed some skills but no end results
- Kalu o gini man - you have to step your game up
- Tremendous work rate.
- Was knocked down in the 18 box that led to Nigeria's second goal via PK
- Had a couple good cracks at goal that he could have done better with
- Also he did not help out in defence like he did against France
Kanu : All Hail The King 8.5
- MOTM. Did more in 45mins than our midfielders (combined) did in 90mins. Used his experience to move into open spaces in Kenya's midfield from where he drove the team forward. Was instrumental in our last 2 goals and a must (as a super sub) in Tunis.
- Managed to hold on to the ball and stabilise the SE midfield
Ike Uche : 8.5 - Yes 2drama be Ike Uche shrinner and also basher .
- Garri Master na you biko
- Continued from where he left off against France and was a real thorn in the sides of the Kenyans. He scored an opportunistic goal and was not afraid of shooting from distance
- He needs to look for options before blasting at goal from 18yds out.
- Came on and scored 2 goals and could have had a hat-trick
Enemaro : 4.5 -
- The jury is still out on this player as to whether he can cut it at this level. Seems to be skillful as he skinned his marker a few times. He could not free himself for an open pass
- Will suffer due to Super Eagles poor midfield support
Etuhu : 4.5
- Almost collapsed at Half-Time due to the weather
- He put in a few robust tackles and made simple passes, but he did not seem to understand his role in the team
Apam :
- Not enough time to rate him
