Nigeria Football Federation (NFF) released a list of 36 players invited to the Flying Eagles' camp, which opens today in Abuja, with an order that they should all report to camp with their international passports and originals of their birth certificates.

The national Under-20 men's team, Flying Eagles is stepping up preparation for the two–legged 2011 African Youth Championship qualifying fixture against Guinea which begins next weekend.

The Coach of the Flying Eagles, John Obuh is preparing hard for his upcoming task against Guinea, having led his team with victories in two different Four-Nation Invitational Tournaments in South Africa and Egypt. Also sending his assistant, Abimbola Samuel to watch the Guineans’ preliminary round qualification fixture against Togo in Lome and Conakry. Coach Obuh is very familiar with the bulk of his team that comprised of his former 2009 Golden Eaglets squad, that finished runners-up at the 2009 Fifa Under 17 World Cup held in Nigeria.

Sam John Obuh’s Flying Eagles learnt the ropes in a qualifying competition in difficult way but managed to scale through with a 2-0 win over Guinea in Abuja on Saturday.

Nigeria's Flying Eagles lost 0-1 to Guinea's Junior Syli Stars in the second leg of their African Youth Championship qualifier on Sunday in Conakry.
But the result was still enough to see John Obuh and his wards advance to the final round of qualifying for the tournament.

Nigeria will play against Mauritius in the next round of the qualifying tournament for the 2011 African Youth Championship after beating Guinea 2-1 on aggregate in the first round.
