Super Eagles Fans Worry About Poor Preparations Ahead of 2010 World Cup

Series of events are causing sleepless nights for millions of football fans following and supporting the Super Eagles of Nigeria on their fourth World Cup appearance. The 2010 World Cup is special for Super Eagles fans because this will be the first time the competition will be hosted on African soil and Nigerian fans expect a good outing for their beloved team.

Since the appointment of Lars Lagerback last February, both the Nigerian Football Federation (NFF) and coach Lagerback failed to arrange practice sessions and properly schedule international friendly matches. With the recent April 27 and 28 training camp cancellation due to clubs refusing to release their players. Furthermore, Lagerback has not had enough time to access players to make team selection ahead of the World Cup.
